Description:

Interactive installation using saltwater as the conductor to trigger sounds when the viewers touch the water. The piece composes a collection of 10 digitally generated 60 Hz humming sounds, several whispers, and chantings fragments of the Heart Sutra. This work creates a peaceful and relaxing realm of sound and vibration that is almost unnoticeable.  

       聲音互動裝置。十個內盛鹽水的陶製容器擺在鋪著黑火山岩、螺旋狀的短牆上。觀者可由內側或外側與作品互動。觸摸陶器中的鹽水，能觸發各種60赫的電子音頻，以及耳語念誦的心經。所組成的聲音在場域中是不易察覺的振動頻率，能形成一種平靜而放鬆的維度。本記錄影片為重現內容，將聲音放大，效果與現場感受不同。

This is a collaboration with the artist, Jonathan Grover, who is in charge of electronics, programming, and sound mixing.
